How To Find Out How Much Water To Drink
If you’re wondering how much water you should be drinking everyday, then look no further. Here is a simple formula to determine how much water to drink everyday.
How Much Water Should You Drink?
For adults, the calculation is simple.
For every pound of body weight you have, you need about half an ounce of fluid intake per day. Let’s say you weight 150lbs.
150 x .5 = 75
Now to find out how many actual cups that equals in a day, simple divide by 8.
75 / 8 = 9.375
So a person weighing 150lbs should be drinking about 9 cups of water a day.
How much water do you drink every day? More than likely you’ll find out that the calculation usually falls within the well known recommendation of 8-12 cups a day.
