Tanning to look skinny
There are many people around the world who want to look slim, fit and fine. Obesity is now a worldwide problem with over 33% Americans (1 in every 3) being diagnosed as being clinically overweight or obese. Our lifestyles have changed as we lead sedentary lives cooped in front of computers all day and maybe late into the night as well. The kind of food we eat also doesn’t really help in any meaningful way as we gorge on unhealthy fatty and fast foods that clog the arteries with cholesterol. In addition, many people have no commitment to any meaningful exercise daily which leads to greater adipose tissue, like the accumulation of fat leading to obesity. Tanning to look skinny is one way in which people try to manage their appearance.
While one may be a little overweight, everyone wants to look slim. If you cannot become thin, you may at least want to take some steps that can make you look a little thinner. One of the ways on how you can do this is to resort to tanning and tanning makes you look skinny. For tanning you need to be out in the sun for long for you to look much darker, which also gives the impression that you are thinner than you actually are. You can go to the beach or maybe sun yourself on your terrace so that you work up a suitable tan which makes you look thin and feel better.
In case going to the beach or sunning yourself does not suit you, you can go to a beauty salon and also try some tanning lotions to help you along the way. Also use these lotions under the eyebrow, as this helps the colored areas seem deeper and make you look thinner. It’s all about the effect.
You can also use the tanning effect by making your eyes seem bigger by using lotions or eye color. If your eyes look bigger as compared to your face, it makes you look slimmer by far. Tanning the legs area is also quite an important way of making you look slimmer. You can use a dark bronze color in the outer part of the legs and put some lighter shade inside so that it gives an illusion of being slim and thinner.
Getting tanned was considered not very cool some time ago as only poor people worked outdoors and gets tanned. Later, after the 1970s, getting tanned became in fashion as the rich and famous roamed the world in search of the perfect tan. Research has been seen to show that people who work outdoors day in and day out are used to natural sunlight and hence do not face not much risk from skin cancer. It is only people who go in for a crash tanning course that are at risk. While tanning makes you look skinny, one must be careful to note that it’s no child’s play as it concerns your own skin. You cannot use just any lotion as it may prove to be harmful. Tanning to look skinny is fine, but do be careful also.
